The ultimate BSAC mixed gas open circuit course that will extend your mixed gas diving and certify you to dive to 80m! Extended your knowledge and choice of trimix gases to minimise the risks of narcosis and and learn how to plan and dive with a twinset and a minimum of 2 stage sylinders for those decompression gases.

Who Can Take This Course?

Ideally suited to divers that already have extensive experience of diving in a twinset ideally with a single stage in the 35-60m depth range.

Enrolment requirements and course content

Minimum 18 years old
Explorer Mixed Gas Diver or equivalent from another recognised diver training agency
Significant deeper diving experience and evidence of recent logged deeper dives between 35-50m
Practical diving techiniques
6 Theory sessions
1 Theory assessment
1 Dry practical session
1 Sheltered water session
3 Open water dives

Good diving plannning, management, skills and knowledge are essential for safer, deeper mixed gases diving!

What Will I Be Able To Do?

As an Advanced Mixed Gas Diver you will be competent to plan and conduct open cicuit dives on open circuit with mandatory decompression using hypoxic, normoxic and hyperoxic trimix to dive to a maximum depth of 80m.

What If I Need More Dives To Achieve The Standard?

You can complete more dives with us, time permitting, to achieve the standard. The cost of the additional dives is 150,00 € / dive. It excludes hire of equipment and gases for yourself and your instructor.

What Are The Next Steps?

Learn to be a Closed Cirucit Rebreather Diver and put those mixed gases knowledge and dive planning skills to further good use.
Develop alternative gas skills by taking a course on Mixed Gas Blending or maybe something different and become a BSAC Technical Instructor.
