The all NEW BSAC Advanced Wreck Diver course will bring wrecks alive from the inside out.
This 4 day BSAC course is a continually assessed modular course, comprising of 2 modules that can be completed separately or back to back.

This course is for those divers with experience of wreck diving and who are interested in and ready to start exploring inside wrecks.
Ideally you'll be a BSAC Advanced Twinset Diver and Wreck Diver with line laying experience.
You also need to have demonstrate recent experience as a Sport Diver of diving between 30-35m.

Minimum Sports Diver with Nitrox training and experience diving to 35m |
Minimum gold standard buoyancy and able to demonstrate good finning techniques and buoyancy to a minimum of gold standard (+0.5m) |

You will learn how to plan and conduct wreck penetration dives within your current diver limits.
- advanced wreck dive planning
- advanced line laying and communication skills
- advanced kit choice and configuration
- advanced wreck diving dangers: hazards and how to identify and avoid them
- preparing for low viz / black out situations
- bailout skills
You'll learn through continual assessment. There will be under pinning dive theory complimented by the dry sessions in dive planning and advanced line laying. There will be time to practice the skills on land before entering the water to put them into practice. There is also plenty of in water time to practice your new skills before planning and conducting your first advanced wreck dive.
Once certified you'll be competent to plan and conduct pentration wreck dives, within the limits of your diver certification level.
As an Advanced Wreck Diver you'll be exploring the outside and penetrating the inside.
If you're not already an Advanced Twin-set Diver then wreck diving is a very good reason to become one by enrolling on the BSAC ADP and Twinset courses. You really will get more out of wreck diving.
You could further develop your open-circuit mixed gas knowledge and diver skills by enrolling on the Sport Mixed Gas Diver (50m) course or above.
You could learn to become a Closed Circuit Rebreather, CCR, diver on an AP Diving unit Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Diver (40m) course.
